Morning In Bethlehem

Morning in Bethlehem
December 9th, Following the Late Service!!!

Did you enjoy the Road to Resurrection experience in March? If your answer is yes, then you don’t want to miss the opportunity to wander through the bustling Bethlehem marketplace and discover what life was like when Jesus was born. Sip on hot cocoa while you interact with local shopkeepers who share the Christmas story. Talk to Mary and Joseph in the stable and hear about the miracle of Jesus’ birth! This is an all ages event and the perfect time to invite friends and family. Mark your calendars for immediately following late service on Sunday, December 9th. Contact Susan Saban or Pastor Erik to volunteer to share your time, talents and treasures to make this outreach event a success!!!

Sunday Morning Jr. High Youth Basics

This year our Sunday Morning Youth Basics class will be focused on the Small Catechism! We will dive deeply into the life and times of Martin Luther, the man who shook the world by standing up to the false teachings of the Catholic church! We will learn how he had hoped to reform the church, but when he couldn’t his hopes changed. He instead began teaching the world to not cling to human traditions, but to cling solely to the word of God! Because it is only in God’s word that we receive forgiveness of our sins, and are restored to a life of love and mercy with Him! Throughout the year we will also look at the Lord’s Prayer, the Ten Commandments, The Apostles Creed, and the Sacraments of Baptism and the Lord’s Supper! Come join us from 9:30AM – 10:30AM every Sunday Morning, and we will remember to invite your friends and neighbors!
