Welcome to Our Savior’s Children’s Ministry!

Children’s Ministry is all about teaching and fostering a lifelong pursuit of discipleship (becoming more like Jesus) in children. Our Savior and our Children’s Ministry department are honored and humbled to be a small part of that journey for each young person. We also recognize that parents are the primary faith-developers in the life of a child. To that end, we are committed to supporting and caring for families in their homes and providing age-appropriate Bible teaching at church.

With that in mind we are glad to reassure you that a significant emphasis in our entire Children’s Ministry program is connecting our children to the truths of God’s Word and in meaningful relationships with one another. Our groups range from infants through 4th graders. Our Sunday School program, which is called DIGG and stands for “Delighting In God’s Grace”, is divided into four groups including infants, preschool – kindergarteners, 1st – 2nd Grade, and 3rd – 4th Grade. We invite you to join us and hope you will see just how much God loves you through the warmth, love and encouragement that your family will find here at Our Savior!

DIGG (Delighting In God’s Grace) Sunday School

This year Our Savior’s Children Ministry is focused on teaching our children the greatest truth ever known! Each week we will dive into a new lesson through “The Story” discovering what it means to be God’s masterpiece and experiencing His eternal love for each of us. Here is the description a critic offered about “The Story”, “Now children can experience God’s great love story! “The Story” Bible study is filled with vibrant illustrations and simple text that bring 31 pivotal Bible stories, including Creation, David and Goliath, and the birth of Jesus to life for children. At the end of each story, a simple message will help children personalize and remember the greatest story ever told.” Come join us on this journey and remember to invite your family, friends, and neighbors!

Vacation Bible School

Daniel was way more than the guy who survived a den of hungry lions and a fiery furnace! On July 16th-20th we invite you to join us on a grand adventure through Daniel’s life as we hear how he was torn from his home and forced into the king’s service. Together we will explore exotic sights and smells in a Babylonian bazaar! Your family will find that you’re honestly not that much different from Daniel and his friends, who kept their faith in a faithless culture!
