---LIFE GROUPS

“And let us consider how to stir up one another to love and good works, not neglecting to meet together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another, and all the more as you see the Day drawing near.”  – Hebrews 10:24-25

“They devoted themselves to the apostles teaching and to the fellowship, to the breaking of bread, and to prayer. They continued to meet together…they broke bread in their homes and ate together…and the Lord added to their number daily those who were being saved.” – Acts 2:42-47

What is a Life Group?

Life Groups offer a place to form strong friendships, grow in God’s Word and positively impact our community and the world. Groups consist of 6 -12 members who gather to study the Bible, enjoy fellowship, pray and care for one another in the comfort of their own homes. They are a place where lives can be changed as trust is built and faith grows deeper.

  • Groups will include but are not limited to: men’s, women’s, couples, singles, stage of life, geographic location, and blended groups.
  • Groups meet various days and times of the week/month, as determined by the group.
  • Groups meet for 1 ½ to 2 hours.
  • Groups commit to meet for a 6 session (6 week) timeframe with the opportunity for the group to continue. The hope is that groups keep meeting and stay together for years.

Why Join a Life Group?

In Life Groups, the church becomes more than a weekly meeting; it becomes who we are…..living out those “one another” commands from Scripture (love one another, pray for one another, be kind to one another) in our groups and in our community. Life Groups are focused on developing relationships that encourage and challenge us to commit to grow in God’s Word and to become more Christ like in character. Spiritual growth is stunted when we think that the Christian life only consists of one hour of Worship on Sunday morning. Spiritual growth happens in the context of community. In Life Groups we find a balance of acceptance, community, fellowship, accountability, Bible study, prayer, and the support and encouragement of fellow Christians.

Life Groups will include but are not limited to:
  • Couples
  • Singles
  • Mixed (Couples and Singles)
  • Stage of Life
  • Geographic location
