Better Beloved Bible Study

New BELOVED Study ~ Starts September 15, 2020 !
  • In this verse-by-verse study of the Book of Hebrews, Jen Wilkin explores how God “provided something better for us” in the person of Jesus Christ (Heb. 11:40). Through stories of Old Testament heroes and practices, the author of Hebrews demonstrates how the new covenant is superior to the old and how Jesus Christ is the fulfillment of every promise. Blessings In a Backpack

We are partnering with OSLC Academy to collect non-perishable food items for blessing bags and school supplies/backpacks to provide to Tusculum Elementary students who are in need.  We will be accepting donations through September 20 and you can leave the items in the marked box in front of the academy or at the welcome station in the narthex.  Please contact Danice Hill at with any questions or if you need a list of items.

Little Pantry That Could

The Little Pantry that Could, a food pantry ministering to the neighborhood around 24th Ave. in Nashville is in dire need of plastic grocery bags.  Please bring all you have, and put them in the plastic bin next to the Room in the Inn donation bin in the hall outside the gym.  This is a way to reach out, fill a need, uncluttered your home, and it won’t cost you a penny!!!  Thanks so much – we knew we could count on you all to respond. If you have questions, ask Jan Perkinson, Lee Compton or Donna Shaw.

Trinity Hope GARAGE SALE

After much prayer and conversation,

The Annual Trinity Hope Garage Sale is cancelled this year.

We’ll resume again in 2021!

If you aren’t able to store your items for us until then, please contact Thrift Smart (615-833-8200) for a pick up.  They are very accommodating, and will pick up your things.  If you do, please let them know that all gift cards resulting from your donation should be sent to Lutheran Services of Tennessee -(That’s how they have Inspiritus in their system.)  Your donations will be weighed, and for every 10 pounds of accepted weight, a $1.00 gift card will be generated.  Last year, Inspiritus gained $600.00 in gift cards from our left-overs! PLEASE DO NOT BRING ANYTHING TO CHURCH AND STORE IT ON THE STAGE!  We’re sad that we’ve had to make this decision, and pray that you’ll support us again in 2021!

Thank you so much for your understanding.

Young Adult Group (Open)

Here is a quick note from Brian and Kristin Meyers in regards to our Young Adult Small Group… “I hope you all are having a great summer! This summer is seeming to leave us quicker then I’d like. Due to the craziness of all our summer schedules, I am thinking we will pause our study for the remainder of summer and start back up again mid-August. I look forward to seeing you all at some of the young adult events that have been planned!” Don’t forget to invite your friends and neighbors to join us for these upcoming events, and we will see you all again in the fall for our Small Group Kick-Off!

For more information please contact our Small Groups Coordinator: Kim Shaw
